Winners of the Eco Contest will head out on a mini expedition to the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary this fall. What better way to learn about our water planet than by…well…getting wet?! Or, better, yet, getting wet with members of one of the amazing VANS WARPED TOUR^® bands and Philippe or Alexandra Cousteau of EarthEcho International. Winners will enjoy a way-fun three day/two night aquatic, eco-themed adventure trip in October in the Florida Key. While anyone can snorkel, kayak, and dolphin watch in the Keys, winners of the Eco Contest will get to do so with National Marine Sanctuary and MOTE Marine Laboratory staff and scientists—in other words, a behind-the-scenes look into the amazing natural resources of the Florida Keys. To wrap things up we plan to cap it al off with a party and concert on the Key West waterfront! Oh, right, how to enter…stop by one of the participating booths onsite and recycle 10 bottles or cans—you’ll receive an entry form to complete and submit to the Warped Recycling tent. It’s that simple. At the end of the tour, VANS WARPED TOUR^® will draw two winning entries who (along with a guest) will be flown to the Keys for the trip, currently scheduled for October 2007.
